PRENEU, a company specializing in unmanned aerial vehicles, announced on the 11th that it was selected as an agreement company for the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center, a key base for local companies to enter the defense industry.
The selection is a result of proving that PRENEU's own drone manufacturing technology and On-device AI-based avionics system technology are innovative technologies optimized for defense requirements. Using this agreement as a stepping stone, PRENEU plans to accelerate the entry of defense and spur the provision of unmanned system solutions optimized for the military operation environment.
Since its establishment in 2017, PRENEU has commercialized 14 types of aircraft, including fixed-wing, helicopters, and multicopter, and delivered more than 400 drones to the military, accumulating actual operation data and reliability. In particular, through its own development of key avionics components, it has reduced dependence on foreign products and realized internalization of localization technology that meets defense security standards.
In addition, in order to maximize drone utilization in defense and government, we are focusing on upgrading AI-based autonomous recognition mission technology beyond simple flight, and through this, we plan to play a key role in future battlefields.
PENNEU will receive infrastructure necessary for entering and expanding defense, including matching military commercialization tasks, supporting defense technology personnel, participating in government and research institutes development projects, providing defense-related information, and supporting global export counseling and public relations from the Gyeonggi Defense Venture Center.
PRENEU said that the selection was once again recognized for its unique technology and business feasibility, and that it will continue to upgrade military optimization solutions based on core domestic technologies to expand K-dissipation electrification technology to the global market.
