PRENEU embraces
challenges without limits.

Establishes a Strategic Central Asian Hub through Local Production and Technology Cooperation

PRENEU (CEO Jong Kyeong Lee), a company specializing in the design and manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicles, is spearheading the expansion of drone industry cooperation between Korea and Kazakhstan through KKDS (Kazakhstan-Korea Drone Systems), its local joint venture.

In connection with the 1st Korea-Central Asia Summit, PRENEU announced that it participated in the Korea-Kazakhstan Business Roundtable (BRT) held in Seoul on September 15. During the event, PRENEU showcased its drone production and technology cooperation project alongside its local partner, DQB Group, and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the phased localization of unmanned aircraft system production in Kazakhstan.

Government officials and leading business representatives from both countries attended the event to review the progress of bilateral economic cooperation and present major joint investment projects. In particular, PRENEU’s drone production project was spotlighted as a cornerstone of bilateral cooperation, alongside joint production of automotive components, medical device manufacturing, and hospital construction.

During the presentation, PRENEU CEO Jong Kyeong Lee and DQB Group CEO Auyezov Yerzhan unveiled the joint drone production business carried out through KKDS, demonstrating displayed drone products and outlining future localized production plans.

Through this event, PRENEU solidified its position by demonstrating that its Kazakhstan initiative is evolving beyond simple overseas sales into a comprehensive global business model encompassing local joint venture operation, production infrastructure setup, technology transfer, and full localization.

Based on the MOA, both companies plan to strengthen technological cooperation in unmanned aircraft systems, step-up production capabilities in Kazakhstan, and drive full-scale localization by jointly executing drone application projects for local industrial and public sectors.

PRENEU CEO Jong Kyeong Lee stated, "The fact that PRENEU's drone production project was highlighted as a key cooperative initiative at this event proves that our efforts in local production and technology transfer are bearing tangible fruit," adding, "We will accelerate localized production and technology transfer centered around KKDS to establish Kazakhstan as our flagship hub for expanding into the Central Asian market."

Meanwhile, Akorda, the official website of the President of Kazakhstan, highlighted the drone production project as a landmark cooperative initiative in its coverage of the Korea-Kazakhstan joint investment projects on September 15.
