One-stop (ONE-STOP) company Frieu won the main prize in the 'Product Design' category of the 'iF Design Awards 2025' with the drone 'ARKS3.

PRENEU is the only unmanned aerial vehicle company in Korea that provides one-stop services ranging from drone planning and design to hardware manufacturing and software development and platform services integrating IT technology.

The iF Design Award is an international design contest organized by IF International Forum Design (iF), a German design agency, and is considered one of the world's top three design awards along with the German Red Dot Design Award and the U.S. IDEA Design Award, and has been awarding the iF Design Award to the best design every year since 1954.

ARKS3, which won the iF Design Award, is a modular drone that can change the camera and internal PCB configuration by replacing the module pack (ARK) in a detachable format. It is characterized by the design so that it can provide an integrated solution by replacing the module pack to meet the needs of consumers even with a single drone.

The design concept is Tactical Sculpture, a combination of Tactical, which symbolizes function, and Sculpture, which means sculpture, and features such as straight silhouette, toughness, and practicality are applied to the shape of the product. In addition, the continuous structure of embossed surfaces and recessed sculptures improves rigidity, increasing the stability of drones vulnerable to vibration, and emphasizing the three-dimensional characteristics of the product due to light reflection to create the design, which was recognized for its excellence not only in practicality but also in design.

ARKS3 won the honor by receiving excellent reviews in function, differentiation, and form among more than 11,000 entries from 66 countries through a rigorous screening process by an iF jury consisting of 131 international design experts. 

"ARKS3 won the world-renowned iF Design Awards 2025 Main Award after winning the Good Design (GD) Silver Award in November 2024, which seems to have served as an opportunity to prove its quality and marketability by receiving greater recognition not only for aesthetic excellence but also for functional differentiation," PRENEU said. "We will try to introduce high-quality products and services with Frieu's technology in the future."
