PRENEU embraces
challenges without limits.

PRENEU (CEO Lee Jong-kyung), a company specializing in drone design manufacturing and electric component development, announced on the 21st that it has completed attracting a total of 15 billion won worth of Series B investment on the 20th. It has achieved a total of 21 billion won in accumulated investment in a year and a half after attracting 3 billion won worth of Series A investment in 2022.

T Investment, BNK Investment & Hyundai Technology Investment, Korea Investment & Securities, New Main Capital, and Stick Ventures participated in this investment.

PRENEU is the only leading drone company in Korea that provides breakthrough drone systems and services through the convergence of unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) H/W manufacturing technology, S/W development technology and core IT technology. It provides platform-based services that can maximize the usability of drones through convergence with IT technology.

In particular, since its establishment in 2017, PRENEU has been recognized for its technological excellence by carrying out various localization development projects in the fields of drone aircraft design/manufacturing, core component development, and control systems based on its own technology. In addition, it has secured opportunities to increase sales by developing a drone operation system that meets the needs of the defense and private sectors. It is preparing a full-fledged plan to create a profit model by launching "ARK MOUDULE," which integrates key avionics components into one module in the second half of 2024, and expanding its business area not only to the domestic market but also to the overseas market after applying its own aircraft.

The Series B investment will be used to accelerate sales growth by developing △ new unmanned vehicles and core components △ upgrading gas and automating battlefield assembly lines △ launching DRONEiT service platform.

Lee Jong-kyung, CEO of PRENEU, said, "Despite the shrinking investment market, I think we have been able to achieve good results in recognition of Frieu's different technology and sales growth, and we will focus more on developing new products and upgrading our aircraft with the aim of IPO in 2026 to secure sales."
