Seongnam City won the "World Smart City Awards" in the mobility category (Winner). The award-winning "Seongnam Autonomous Driving-Based Integrated Mobility Service (MaaS)" is a representative smart city project to bridge the gap in transportation infrastructure between new and old cities and increase citizens' mobility. It aims to establish a mobile environment accessible to all citizens by integrating public transportation, autonomous shuttles, vehicle sharing, personal mobility, and robot and drone delivery into one platform.
PRENEU joined the drone delivery business, one of the "Seongnam Autonomous Driving-Based Integrated Mobility Services (MaaS)." As a drone demonstration city construction project, PRENEU started the drone delivery business in Seongnam City from May 25 to October 25, and has delivery bases in Bundang Central Park and two housing exhibition halls to deliver drones to a total of eight delivery stores.
"We are happy to contribute to Seongnam City's winning the Winner in the mobility category of the 'World Smart City Awards'," said an official at the drone delivery business of PRENEU Seongnam City, "We plan to increase the number of merchants by increasing the number of deliveries to various types when conducting the drone delivery business in the future, and to increase the convenience and accessibility of users by allowing them to use public delivery apps in addition to the existing K-drone delivery apps," it said.
