PRENEU, a company specializing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), is making moves to expand its reach in North America by participating in the Drone Roadshow held in Oregon, USA. The company plans to leverage its core domestically produced drone technology to target the growing demand for alternatives to Chinese-made drones.
PRENEU announced on the 6th that it is participating in the "U.S. Oregon Drone Roadshow" as part of an initiative supported by Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology (KIAST) to assist Korean drone companies in expanding overseas.
This support program was designed to help domestic drone manufacturers enter the North American market amid stricter security and communication regulations by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and a broader push toward supply chain diversification. A key objective is to capture the emerging demand for non-Chinese drone alternatives.
PRENEU is joining the roadshow to target global defense, public, and private infrastructure markets, backed by its proprietary domestic technology and next-generation mass production system.
The event gathered major North American buyers and defense/industrial stakeholders across various sectors, including infrastructure inspection, agriculture and forestry, emergency response, firefighting, and subsystem manufacturing.
At the venue, PRENEU showcased its lineup of core components developed with in-house technology, including the D-FC (Flight Controller), D-DL (Data Link), D-GPS (GNSS Module), and the D-GCS P10 (Ground Control Station).
Additionally, PRENEU exhibited its compact drone, the PQ330, equipped with these core proprietary components, demonstrating its standardized technology and high performance.
According to PRENEU, its lineup of domestically produced components—which significantly reduces reliance on foreign parts—received strong interest from North American industry stakeholders who prioritize security and stability.
